| I joined the bootcamp in Spennymoor in Co Durham because a friend asked me to go along.. To be honest I hadn’t really done anything in a while so I was very nervous.. I was out of shape and had virtually no fitness! I remember I came in the biggest baggiest t-shirt I could find!On the first night I realised that this was VERY different to anything I had done before, there were no machines, I wasn’t left to’ just get on with it’ and what really surprised me was just how friendly everyone was.. The bootcamp was full with people of all ages, all shapes and sizes and all fitness levels..
There were loads of people I knew from surrounding areas, Spennymoor, Bishop Auckland, Newton Aycliffe, we had a great laugh and an even better workout! At the end of the session I was soaked with sweat, but I WAS HOOKED!! I immediately signed up for bootcamp, since joining I’ve only ever missed a few sessions.. I guess you could say I’m ADDICTED!

| Just a few weeks ago I ran a half marathon (I’d never ran before in my life) and I can now do 20+ full press ups, I couldn’t do any when I started.. I can honestly say, I look, feel and act like a completely different person now, I’ve got my confidence back, I feel so much better about my self.. | Before starting bootcamp I was unhealthy and starting to get fat!! My job kept me on the road a lot which meant not a lot of exercise and eating from service stations..
It wasn’t until I caught a glance at myself in the mirror that I realised just how much I’d slipped.. I joined the first ever bootcamp that fitness revolution ran.
Dave really pushed me hard, they taught me how to eat properly and within a few weeks I’d lost over a stone!
As you can see from my pictures I went on to get in good shape.. My biggest problem now is – my clothes no longer fit!

| What is the best thing I can say about Bootcamp?
Well I lost 17 inches in 12 weeks, dropped weight and toned up.. My body has completely changed shape and my energy is through the roof.. But what’s even better than that is I love bootcamp training!! It’s always different, it, it challenges me and its 100% better than running on a treadmill or lifting weight!!
Before bootcamp I struggled with my motivation – Not now! I love it!!
Although I do still struggle to arrive on time!!
On a professional note I recommend many of my patients to Bootcamp to help them lose weight, increase their movement and gain strength. I see so many people in their 30’s who weight is causing joint pain – all this could be solved with a well structured exercise programme!

| I started training with Revolution Bootcamps with my wife Karen, we both wanted to lose weight.. Karen had done well with a slimming club but we both wanted to lose more, tone up and get fit..
To be honest I’d really let myself go.. I was unhappy with myself, I’d lost my self esteem and confidence..
As you can see in this picture I wasn’t a picture of health!

| Simply stated… the 12 week (bootcamp) challenge is one of the hardest but one of the most rewarding things I’ve done in my life so far. I started at Fitness Revolution in January 2010 in preparation for my wedding in July 2010 and in that time; going to regular classes with Dave and the team I lost 1 stone 8 pounds. I then got married and went on honeymoon and had a brilliant time feeling great with my body.I started a new job in September and due to meetings and pure idleness I developed real issues with motivation only getting to 1 class a week if I really dragged myself there.
During this lazy period I managed to put back on 8 pounds that I had lost. When Dave suggested this 12 week intensive course at 6am 6 days out of 7 I thought “Are you crazy?” but thinking again I would have no excuse of being kept at work or tired after work, and the course had the added bonus of nutrition guidance and motivation talks. Therefore I signed up!
Don’t get me wrong it was hard, the only times I had been up before 6am in my life was for airport runs, but once I got used to the early mornings it was great. We had specific sessions with 3 exercise classes a week and 3 runs a week. Now the runs… my god! I have never been able to run in my life, and that has been embedded in my brain forever, the first running session I had to walk more than I ran and even then I was having real trouble breathing with “panic attacks” all the way around, but with the support of the group and Dave on week 11 I ran 10 miles by myself for the first time without stopping! WOOHOO!
Looking back over the 12 weeks there were hard parts where I was crying thinking about how hard it was for me to run and how I would never be able to do it, then there were the amazing parts like finishing the 10 mile run, or finding out I’ve lost 15 pounds and 25 inches combined off different areas of my body (7 of those inches off my waist), or going to the shops and not going to buy the size 14 like I had to at the start, nor the size 12… but a size 10! I’m now the lightest I ever remember being and I now have defined muscles and my confidence is sky-high.
All I can say is thank you to Dave and my 12 week challenge buddies, who, via positive peer pressure, helped me keep my diet clean, keep running and keep bouncing and punching at the classes.

| I decided to enrol in the Durham bootcamp at the Spennymoor location just to get a bit fitter and tone up. At first I found the classes tough, but after a while I really started to enjoy classes. The great thing is they lay everything out in a step by step manner.
They take care of the exercise and they showed me how to eat properly too. To be honest I didn’t follow the diet plan but I dropped a dress size without dieting”

| I came to Dave from Fitness Revolution because I needed help getting back in shape. I used to play professional football but after an injury I had to give it up. I steadily gained weight..When I met Dave I was really out of shape, he helped me decide on some goals, we created a plan, he showed me how to get my eating on track and then gave me a workout plan for the next 30 days, each month he would weigh and measure me and we would discuss my progress.
We would then create a plan for the next 30 days..
After just 90 Days I lost 3 stone.
I’ve tried doing it on my own and I just can’t seem to find the motivation, it just seems loads easier when I work with a trainer. I guess it helps knowing I’m getting on the scales and he is expecting to see me hit my goals!

| I used to do a lot of exercise, I was in great shape.. then I had kids!!
I’d try to get in shape but it never seem to work.. Truth was I was doing a little bit of running and wasn’t really focusing on my nutrition at all.
I decided to enrol in a 12 week intensive bootcamp course with Dave and James and Fitness Revolution in Co Durham.
All I can say is WOW! My body has completely changed – By focusing on high intensity fat burning activities and toning exercises I lost weight consistently every week, my legs and but are now super toned compared to before and my tummy is much firmer.. In the past I used to say it was baby weight and I’ll never shift it.. Now I can say losing my baby weight was a cinch!

| When I first met Dave from Co Durham Bootcamps, my confidence was at an all time low. I remember walking in a big baggy t-shirt and a coat that was 3 sizes too big!. I wore these clothes to hide my body, I couldn’t stand other people looking at me and to be honest I didn’t even like looking in the mirror.
Dave sat and talked to me about how my weight was affecting my life, he must have struck a chord with me because I cried.. Enough was Enough and I decided to join one of the Fitness Revolution training programmes.
We started slowly and built things up, I can remember on my first day I could hardly run around the gym, just 10 weeks later Dave and I ran 10 miles together. I ended up getting so strong.. I can now do things that I hadn’t been able to do for year!
I have lost over 3 stones, really toned up and I’m now the fittest I’ve ever been!
Slowly but surely I started to find the real me again.. I found my confidence again. I now train almost every day, to be honest I guess you could say I’m almost addicted to exercise! I love it!!

| A few weeks before joining boot camp I was working at my salon and a client asked me when I was due! He thought I was pregnant! I WASNT!!
That told me it was time to do something about my weight which had been gradually creeping up.
I joined fitness revolution in Co Durham and instantly I knew I was going to love it! My first class was tough but I felt a real sense of accomplishment after it.. After a few weeks, I decided to step things up and do the Intensive bootcamp course.
Oh my god! How things have changed!! In just 12 weeks I’ve gained much more energy, I’ve really toned up, got fitter and dropped over 26 inches – I love it!
I’ve enrolled for a second intensive course, I can’t imagine not doing boot camp now..After seeing my results, my husband Ian joined up too – we eat the same healthy foods and he has got much fitter, lost a few stone and really toned up too..

| Unhealthy lifestyle habits, overeating and lack of exercise caused us both to pile on the weight to the point here we felt totally unhealthy physically and emotionally.
Wearing clothes that fitted and covered the parts we were ashamed of as opposed to choice of clothes isn’t much fun.
In one month Gail lost 1 stone 4 pounds and I lost 1 stone 2 pounds.
We can both see and feel the difference already and we are very pleased with the results so far. We may have a long way to go yet but it’s definitely working and it keeps us motivated and everyone encourages each other.Thanks

| I’ve tried losing weight so many times before, diet clubs, exercise DVD’s, the latest ab machine.. none of this worked for me or if it did I soon put all my weight back on.
A friend recommended bootcamp so I decided to give it a go.. After the first session I was SOOO Stiff.. But I stuck with it.. The guys at the Spennymoor bootcamp gave me a simple to follow two week diet plan, I simply eat what they told me to eat and went to bootcamp 3 x per week..
Two weeks later I’d lost a stone, since then I’ve lost another stone and I’ve kept it off!!
For the first time in my life I actually enjoy exercise, its hard but fun and the workouts are always changing!I’m not exactly where I want to be but I’m finally on the right track!

| I joined fitness revolution bootcamps in Co Durham because I was the heaviest I’ve ever been. I was sick of my clothes not fitting and my mates pulling the mick out of me!
I spoke to Dave and decided to join bootcamp for a 12 week intensive course.
At the beginning of the course he took my measurements and my body fat etc.. Each day we would meet and work on either cardio or toning exercises
After 12 weeks I lost over 2 stone, dropped 8 inches of my waist alone and I’m now the fittest I’ve ever been, I immediately signed up for another 12 week course!
Can’t wait to see what the next 12 weeks brings!

| My weight has always been up and down.. I think it stemmed from emotional eating..
I decided to enrol in the Durham boot camp to see if I could do something about it.. I tried bootcamp and instantly LOVED IT!!
I started to get fitter and lose weight..Unfortunately things got really hectic in my life.. I had to give it up and I put all my weight back on.. When things calmed down, I decided to go back.
Since starting bootcamp again I’ve dropped 3 dress sizes, I dropped from a size 16 to a size 10. I’m loving my new body and so does my husband to be!
My body shape is constantly improving.. I’m now training most days and I absolutely LOVE IT!

| I joined fitness revolution bootcamp in Co Durham, I remember doing my first weigh in and losing only a few lbs when all my friends had lost 4-5 lbs! I thought all the effort and only a lb are you joking me!!
My coaches explained that focusing on what the scales say isn’t the best way to measure my progress. They said I should monitor my progress by looking at my % fat and how my clothes feel.I can now say where at first I was sceptical – now I’m a raving fan!!
I don’t think I’ve ever been so toned or so fit.. my body shape has completely changed and I no longer obsess about what the scales say!I highly recommend the Durham boot camp to anyone who is thinking about joining!
