BECOME MY NEXT STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CLIENT
Hi my name is Steven Hardy and I am one of the coaches here at Fitness Revolution.
I have always had a passion for sport and fitness and followed this passion through my education leading me to complete a degree in Sport and Exercise Coaching Science.
This degree enabled me to develop my knowledge of health and fitness through modules such as Sports Physiology, Sports Psychology, Sport’s Nutrition, Physical Activity for all ages and particularly Sports Strength and Conditioning.
After leaving University I decided to complete a PGCE in PE, this pathway allowed me to relay my passion for sport onto students and use my knowledge to develop them practically and theoretically.
Although my real passion lies in health and fitness particularly Strength & Conditioning and CrossFit, both competing and instructing.
From an early age I was always encouraged to partake in sport,
I represented School, District and County teams in Football, Athletics and Cross-Country.
My particular highlight was captaining Spennymoor Youth in the F.A. Youth Cup.
Over the past year I have started CrossFit, competing in the CrossFit Games Open 2012, I love pushing my body to its limits and enjoy this aspect of fitness as it is a fitness community and group classes allow you to push yourself to achieve your targets and goals.
My future targets are to compete in CrossFit Competitions and aim to get to CrossFit Regionals. I am soon to become a Level One CrossFit instructor and will be one of only a handful of people in the North East to hold this qualification.
I am really enjoying life as a coach at Fitness Revolution and relish passing on my knowledge of fitness and nutrition to our members.
It is really fulfilling to see our members achieving their goals through our support and their hard work.
